Welcome to the Old Harlin House Cafe'. In November of 2003 the John Conkin Harlin and Clara Layton Harlin house was named to the National Register of Historic Places. Old Harlin House is filled with memories of happy times and wonderful people. We dedicate this house to the memory of Sallie and Charles W. Layton, Mary Abigail and John William Harlin, Johnny and Clara Harlin, the eight Harlin brothers, Madge and Ervin Brown, Hugh and Billye Harlin and their families while we remember the past and celebrate the future. As Uncle Johnny used to say, "Well, we've got thick and thin gravy, 'pears like we gotta have both when company comes. You're a sot handy and the table's narry so retch in and take out."
